OCC has developed a simulator chair design for use with its high tech simulator software.
OCC recruited a local engineer, Hal Constien, who also happens to be the spouse of OCC’s Agency Services Director, to design and build the simulator chair. It’s great to have the life-like feel of a real piece of eqiupment to go along with the simulation software to provide students with a feel for the real thing.
Currently, OCC utilizes the simulator with its crane operations students, but plans to expand its use into other equipment training equipment, including excavator and backhoe.
